Howdy folks,
Life in the ol' Bay is about as great as it gets. Being absent from this place really makes you appreciate this glorious paradise I live in. It' s so easy to forget that we are so damn lucky. Having returned from three months in India I have a new appreciation for the glorious simplicities in life. I mean, just cycling down to the beach, or venturing up to the lighthouse to yell into the wind, or eating a massive bowl of fresh fruit, breathing fresh air without the all pervading stench of life in India, it's fucking awesome! And don't get me wrong, I loved the madness of India, the ridiculous complication that's involved in the simplest of things, the nasal crushing odour of the streets, the awe inspiring complexity of driving through the mountains, and the ring stinging joy that is dhal and naan, but dear god it's a right shithole compared to the epicness of this place. Byron Bay is like this wonderful bubble of joy in which beautiful people converge to surf, tan, party, eat, drink, socialise and frolic about and flaunt their glorious selves in clothes they spent way too long fretting over and bodies they spent way too long plucking and polishing. And that's okay, if that what makes you happy and feel good about yourself, go for it. This is the place to feel great. This place makes for an amazing lifestyle. We have beaches, and farmland, and rainforests and amazing fresh food and sunshine and a place to sleep which is dry and warm and people who look out for us and it's so easy to be wonderfully happy when you think about all that is superb and not shit and dirty and ill. Life is so easy here. And there is no pressure to be successful or have lots of money or go or do anything. We can be whoever we want to be. We can be us. Or someone else if that's what you want. Damn. I mean, this is the shit. This. Here. Right now. Is. The. Shit.
Love it you excellent humans. Be wonderful. Stay superb.
